Artwork lands on panels, not on “the box”
Every face of a PacFully model is an independent mesh with its own material slot. That is what makes per-panel artwork, per-panel colors, and panel-accurate dielines possible — you never paint the box, you paint its faces.
The printable panels, per template
| Template | Panels |
|---|---|
| Mailer, Tuck End, RSC, Drawer, Gable boxes | Front · Back · Left · Right · Top / Lid · Bottom |
| Pillow Box | Front (top face) · Back (bottom face) |
| Stand-Up Pouch | Front · Back |
| Boston Round Bottle | Body (wraps) · Cap |
| Straight-Sided Jar | Body (wraps) · Lid |
| Beverage Can 330 ml | Body (wraps) · Top |
| Cosmetic Tube | Body (wraps) · Cap |
On lathed containers the body is a single wrap-around panel: artwork maps to its cylindrical UV space, which covers the full circumference. Boxes give you six independent faces, matching the six regions of the dieline.
Where artwork comes from
The left panel offers seven sources, each tuned for a packaging workflow:
| Tab | What it does |
|---|---|
| Upload | Drag and drop an image (or browse) to turn it into a texture you can place on any panel. |
| Logo | Quick placement flow for a primary logo. |
| Prints | Ready-made graphic prints for common packaging looks. |
| Colors | A color picker per panel — set the substrate tone face by face. |
| Symbols | Packaging marks such as recycle, fragile, and this-side-up, drawn as inline SVG. |
| Text | Live text rendered to an image with a set of packaging-appropriate fonts. |
| Patterns | Seamless tiling patterns for all-over prints. |
In-editor uploads live in your browser session as textures. Uploading an image to your account through the API (POST /assets) accepts image files up to 25 MB and serves them back from /files/<name> — see the Assets API.
Placing and adjusting
Every placed piece appears in the artwork list at the bottom of the left panel with its own controls: target panel (front, lid, body…), offset X/Y, scale, rotation, and a remove button. Selecting a panel in the 3D view or the dieline pre-targets new artwork at that panel.
Mapping is planar per panel: offset, scale, and rotation operate in the panel's 0–1 UV space. There is intentionally no wrap-around control beyond the default cylindrical UVs on containers, and no per-face repeat or mirror toggles — if you need a wrap print on a box, place the artwork on each face separately.
Safe-zone guides
The guides toggle in the canvas overlays a safe-zone texture on each panel: keep text, logos, and critical art inside the inner region so nothing important lands on a crease, glue tab, or trim edge. Guides are a viewport aid — they never appear in exports.
